We pride ourselves on providing high-quality residential concrete for property owners throughout Northern California. With so many hillside homes built in the last 50 years, having sound retaining walls is essential to providing lateral support to the vertical slopes they are located on. When a retaining wall is not properly constructed, the ground can slide, causing damage not only to your home and surrounding features, but to properties located above and below the slide area.
Retaining walls can be constructed using a wide range of materials and methods. Most retaining walls consist of poured concrete walls and structural material such as steel, timber and reinforced soil.
Maloney Construction has built countless retaining walls in the last 20 years throughout the greater Bay Area, which have stood the test of time and remain sound today. We can design a retaining wall that is affordable, efficient and designed exclusively for you according to your specifications.
No homeowner wants to deal with any foundation problem, especially since they believe that concrete foundation repairs can be expensive and all-encompassing. This does not have to be true all the time, especially if you can identify a foundation problem before it becomes too severe and limit the scope damage.
Maloney Construction repair experts are trained to carefully evaluate all aspects of your concrete foundation, identify any problems that exist, and determine the cause. Whether you have problems with your foundation walls, slab floor, or other related issues, we can provide a solution designed to suit your specific needs.
Common signs of a problem include cracked, raised and uneven surfaces on sidewalks and driveways. Cracks in your floors can cause a separation between the walls and the floor, while sagging or compromised walls represent a foundation in need of repair.
Our repair process always begins with a thorough inspection. By promptly identifying the right solution for your needs, Maloney Construction can provide a high-quality installation to resolve the problem once and for all.
We have the equipment to perform large excavations, as well as small, technical jobs.
Maloney Construction has been installing Chance Helical piers and tiebacks for over 20 years. Our expertrise is in helical piers for new foundations, underpinning (stabiliziation) of existing foundations, and house leveling.
Helical piers are cost a effective way to to support, stabilize, lift and/or level an existing foundation. Maloney Construction monitors and records critical data during every helical pier installion to confirm that each pier installed has the capacity to hold your foundation stable, and prevent any future movement.
Because the piers are screwed into the ground, lift and level Tiebacks are typically used for retaining walls and in residential foundation construction. Chance tieback anchors are rated for 70,000 to 200,000 pounds, and are installed by rotating the anchors into the ground. They are used effectively on concrete, soldier pile, soil nail, and wood retaining walls. Proven in hundreds of applications, these cost-effective tiebacks can be tested immedately. With no curing period required, Chance Helical piers and tiebacks save homeowners time and money.
Micropiles are small-diameter steel piles comprised of high-strength steel that are pressure-grouted during installation.
Also known as mini piles, pin piles, needle piles or root piles, micropile diameters range between 3 and 12inches. This technique has been used to support many types of structures and can provide ideal solutions in certain instances. Our drill rigs allow us to install micropiles in areas with restricted access, and low headroom interiors, which is ideal for tight spots or small lots.
We can combine our micropile technology with other ground modification techniques to meet unusual or intricate project requirements affordably and proficiently.
